What We Do
We offer community-based care in a home-like setting, accommodating up to six adolescents. Under the supervision of a Psychiatrist, Licensed Clinical Director, and House Manager, we provide services that help young people be healthy and grow across all 64 Louisiana parishes. Those services include:
- Mental Health Care
- Therapeutic Interventions
- Supportive Services
Who We Serve
We take in male youth aged 10-14 who require intensive care. We accept a variety of insurance plans, including Medicaid, Louisiana Bayou Health Plan, and private insurance. We also provide services to youth in the custody of the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services.
Child Welfare Principle Practice
At AngeliCare we prioritize the safety and well-being of children and youth in every aspect of our work. Our Child Welfare Principle Practice is built on the following core commitments:
Continuous Assessment
We evaluate the physical and psychological safety of children at every contact. Our team conducts ongoing assessments to identify safety, risk, and protective factors, ensuring that our interventions are tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Trauma-Informed Approach
Understanding the impact of past traumatic events is essential. We consider each child’s history and responses to trauma, allowing us to identify potential triggers that could threaten their psychological safety.
Comprehensive Safety Focus
Our commitment extends beyond physical protection; we also prioritize psychological well-being. We strive to create an environment where children feel secure, supported, and free from fear.
